Urbane Salon and Day Spa Policies

At Urbane Salon and Day Spa, we have set out to bring you an environment where the highest levels of skin and body care are provided to nurture the well-being of mind, body and spirit.

It is our goal to make a difference in the lives we touch by offering the highest level of service by trained professionals in the most relaxing environment for our guests.


With all the latest news on the COVID-19, and to ensure your safety, we are taking our good health measures up a notch.  We already wash our hands between each guest, per state board regulations, clean our surfaces with an antibacterial cleanser, and our tools are sanitized with a hospital grade virucide.  Guest communal areas and frequently touched surfaces are sanitized on an hourly basis, minimally.  We have Lysol, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer available for your use, if desired.  

To keep our team as well as our guests safe, please reschedule your appointment if you have had a recent fever or flu-like symptoms.  If you have traveled to any of the affected areas in the world or have been exposed to the virus, please kindly reschedule your appointment.

At Urbane, we prefer to spend our time discussing you, your hair, your family and your life.  We would prefer not to spend our visits analyzing and discussing COVID-19 nor the world's situation.  That is why we are taking extra precautions to keep our space and our staff clean and healthy.

To ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. Guests reserving multiple services are required to provide a credit card at the time of booking to guarantee the reservations. Gift certificates or gift cards may also be used in lieu of a credit card to hold your appointment. We hold this information as part of our cancelation policies, and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. Details of our cancelation policy are provided below.

*Please notify the spa coordinator of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.

Although we offer planned spa packages for your convenience, you are welcome to combine any of our spa and salon services for a custom package that meets your needs.

Cancelation Policies and Fees

Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Any cancelations with less than 24 hours of notice where multiple services were booked, are subject to a cancelation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Guests who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our guests and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason.

When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. Again, bookings of multiple services require a credit card, gift certificate or gift card to guarantee a reservation so please have them ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a late cancelation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.

Group Bookings

For parties of three or more, please contact one of our Spa Coordinators for group booking policies and availability. A completed contract and deposit are required to secure your appointment and arranged pricing.

Cell Phones

We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones and pagers to vibrate upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft spa voice once you enter the spa. Please inform your therapist should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other spa guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your spa services.


Gratuity is not included in the price of service or spa packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip the therapist in the room or upon check out at the front desk with cash, check or credit card.

Check In

We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of your service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly.

Personal Belongings

Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Urbane Salon and Day Spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
